Diamond Princess Review and Photos. The Diamond Princess is a large ship. She is in the Gem Class in the Princess Cruise Line fleet. The Diamond was launched in March 2004. Her gross tonnage is 115,875 tons. She is 951 feet in length. She has 13 decks and will accomodate 2,674 passengers and 1,238 crew.
This is our short cruise report of our February 2007 cruise on the Diamond Princess to the Mexican Riviera. This has been one of our favorite cruises so far!

Diamond Princess Cruise Report. We took a 7 night Mexican Riviera cruise on Diamond Princess out of Los Angeles on 2/10/2007.
The cruise departs out of Los Angeles.
Beautiful sunrises are common each morning. We were in Cabin B734 on Baja deck, category BD Balcony. We loved it!
Puerto Vallarta is the first stop on this cruise.
This is a quaint little restaurant on the Rio Cuale.
Rio Cuale is a great area to explore on foot. Watch out for the tequila!
Mazatlan is the second stop. Here's a photo of us on a windy deck leaving Mazatlan.
Cabo is the last port of call on this cruise.
The glass bottom boat is fun. It's a short and low-cost shore excursion in Cabo.
